| Location: Avon,IN,USA Member Since: Nov 04, 2014 Gender: Male Goal Type: Boston Qualifier Running Accomplishments: Just starting out. I have run 1 Sprint Triathlon back in Sept this year 2014. My ultimate goal is to complete a full 140.6 mile Ironman triathlon and be an accomplished marathon runner as well. Short-Term Running Goals: -Complete a Marathon which I am signed up for April 18,2015.
-Complete an Olympic, a half Triathlon by end of 2015.
-Qualify for the Boston Marathon 3:25 minimum
-Complete a full Ironman Triathlon by end of 2016.
-Run a Sub 13 hour Full Triathlon.
Long-Term Running Goals: -Qualify for the NYC Marathon.
-Run a Sub 3 hour Marathon.
-Run a Sub 10 hour full Triathlon.
-Qualify for the Wolrd Championship Triathlon in Kona.
-Complete 100 Mile Ultra Marathon(under 20 hours would be nice).
- Personal: I am 45 years old with 2 boys. One is 21 and the other is 17. I will also be a new father again in early Feb 2015. Don't know if its a girl or a boy as we want to be surprised. I have never been a long distance runner but was fairly fast as sprinter when I was young so many years ago. I want to always do what I never think is possible which is a big reason I want to see if I can build up the endurance to run long distances. I think it would be great to complete in some ulta distance runs as well. I work out 3-4 days a week with a trainer. Been doing so nearly a year now accomplishing things I once thought impossible. Did a dead lift from 18 inches off the ground for 558 pounds in Oct. this year. Hope to get 658 next year. Also I can hit a golf ball a very long distance. Longest recorded to date is 410 yards and would even like to compete at the Long Drive World Championships some day. As you can see I have a lot of goals or lets just say things I love to do. I like to put all my goals out there and see what happens. I was taught there is nothing you can't accomplish if you put your mind to it. Of course nothing comes without tremendous drive and dedication. |
